Home-Made Oven Chips

Serves 2-4

500g waxy potatoes
1 tbsp oil

Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into fairly thick chips. Sprinkle the oil over them, turning them with your fingers so that they are all coated with it. Spread them out in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 35 minutes, then turn them over and cook for a further 10 minutes or so, until they are crisped and golden brown.

I love chips! They're just perfect!
